There is little doubt that this domaine has really joined the big boys over the last couple of years, becoming among the ‘must-buy’ Burgundies. Charles Van Canneyt and Vincent Munier are on a roll and the past few vintages have been stunning.

Charles experimented with some whole bunch clusters in 2011 and liked the results so has consequently extended their use across the range.

Cabernet Sauvignon

The most-planted grapevine in the world - produces dark, black curranty, long-lived wines.

Syrah

The Northern Rhône is where this grape is king, but wherever it’s grown, Syrah has powerful full-bodied flavour.

Pinot Noir

Indigenous to Burgundy, get this tricky grape right and you’ll taste some of the world’s best red wine.
