Domaine Kientzler Gewürztraminer, 2016: Intense and exotic flavors that keep a very fine fruity flavour. The palate is soft, dense and tasty while withholding a dry character. The spicy profile and fine bitterness give length, elegance and vivacity.
Domaine Nadine Ferrand Macon Blanc, 2018: 1 ha of 30 year old vines, located on the top of the hill, next to the winery. Lovely honeysuckle and honeycomb notes, white flowers and a touch of cinnamon-dusted melon and tropical fruits on the nose. Juicy and succulent but a rich vein of fresh acidity and great crunchy apple finish. This is a very good entrée de gamme Macon
Antistiana Xarel·lo, 2017: This wine offers a delicate perfume of white flowers and a rich, dry, stony textured and slightly green fruited palate, this is a fantastic accompaniment to peppered seafood. Don’t serve this too chilled - allow it to display all those floral
Rosade Furlane Bianco Venturin, 2018: "The 2018 Rosade Furlane Bianco Venturin is charmingly easy-going. A blend of Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer, Friulano (aka Sauvignon Vert), Pinot Bianco, Sauvignon Blanc and Muller-Thurgau from the Veneto, it’s deliciously aromatic, fresh, vibrant and slightly creamy on the finish. A perfect springtime wine, it’s ideal as a well-chilled aperitif." Jonathan Ray, The Spectator Magazine
Storm Wines Wild Air Sauvignon Blanc, 2018: "A really serious expression of Sauvignon Blanc from Hannes Storm that is loaded with quince, tropical yellow fruits, gooseberry and a hint of green mango peel. Creamy and mineral with super concentration – the New World answer to Sancerre." 94 pts, Decanter
Quinta Das Maias Branco, 2019: "The 2019 Quinta Das Maias Branco is a Malvasia/Encruzado blend from a 130-year-old organic estate in the foothills of the Serra da Estrela in the Dão region of central north-west Portugal. It’s fresh, lemony and floral and makes a fascinating alternative to Sauvignon Blanc or Chardonnay." Jonathan Ray, The Spectator
